Welcome to Linaro Collaborate! Here you can find content on all the groups, projects and initiatives Linaro currently runs. You are welcome to create a personal, team or department space. Please provide any feedback - good or bad - to the Confluence Administrators.

Segment Groups

Linaro has been enabling markets on Arm architecture since 2010, providing the tools, security and Linux kernel quality needed for a solid base to differentiate on. Originally formed to consolidate and improve the way open source software on Arm was used, Linaro has over time created groups and strategic initiatives tasked with addressing fragmentation in specific segments:

  • Linaro IoT and Embedded Group  Linaro website page  |  Internal Collaborate page
  • Linaro Consumer Group  Linaro website page  |  Internal Collaborate page

Lead Projects

Linaro is a large engineering organization with many complex projects that map across various teams and groups:

  • Arm Kernel Collaboration  Linaro website page |  Internal Collaborate page
  • Linux Kernel Quality - Linaro website page |  Internal Collaborate page
  • Open Source Arm Tools  Linaro website page |  Internal Collaborate page
  • Open Source Security  Linaro website page |  Internal Collaborate page

Initiatives

Linaro focuses much of its engineering work on contributing to existing upstream projects like the Linux Kernel. When a suitable target project doesn’t exist, then Linaro may create one. The list of initiatives continues to grow and includes software projects, an open hardware specification (96Boards and Linaro’s bi-annual event (Linaro Connect).
